[FIN] Mytologiassa: Poseidon oli kreikkalaisessa mytologiassa meren jumala. Hänet tunnetaan myös myrskyjen, maanjäristysten ja hevosten jumalana.
Oikeassa elämässä: Asunto Oy Poseidon on Turussa osoitteessa Linnankatu oleva vuonna 1955 valmistunut rakennus. Talossa on toiminut Turun kaupungin terveysasema koululaisille. Rakennuksen on suunnitelleet Viljo Laitsalmi ja Knut von Troil. Kaupungin talorakennustoimiston arkkitehdin, Viljo Laitsalmen 50-luvulla suunnittelemia taloja on yhä Turussa suuret määrät.
Poseidon talon pohjoispäädyssä on kookas seinään tehty taideteos tästä merten Jumalasta. Taideteoksen tekijää ei ole tiedossa.
