Der Stausee Wascheid, am südlichen Fuße des Schneifelhöhenzuges gelegen, bietet bei einer Größe von insgesamt 2,8 ha dem Angelfreund einen guten Fischbestand. Die idyllische Lage und die naturnahe Umgebung dürften die Begeisterung zum angeln zusätzlich erwecken.
Der vorrangig für Behinderte angelegte barrierefreie Angelsteg am Stausee Wascheid ist stufenlos über eine ca. 25 m lange Zuwegung mit maximal 6 % Steigung zugänglich. An abgesenkten Bereichen des Geländers am Steg können auch Rollstuhlfahrer problemlos angeln.

The Wascheid reservoir, located at the southern foot of the Schneifel mountain range, has a total size of 2.8 ha and offers angling enthusiasts a good stock of fish. The idyllic location and the near-natural surroundings are likely to arouse additional enthusiasm for fishing.
The barrier-free fishing pier at the Wascheid reservoir, which is primarily designed for disabled persons, is accessible without steps via an approx. 25 m long access path with a maximum gradient of 6 %. Wheelchair users can also fish without difficulty at the lowered areas of the railing on the jetty.
