EN: The cemetery of Ausserberg is located north of the parish church of St. Josef in the center of the village.

The rectangular area has a surface of about 20 by 35 meters and is occupied by about two thirds with a little less than a hundred graves.

As usual in certain areas of the canton of Valais, the graves are identical in every detail and are lined up quite closely. Only the planting is a bit more individual. In front there is a grave light with a metal frame, the crosses are made of wood with a protective roof and are about one meter high. In the gable INRI is engraved, below a round photo of the deceased, then a Jesus figure of wood and in the lower third a wooden plate with the burned names and life years.

DE: Der Friedhof von Ausserberg befindet sich nördlich der Pfarrkirche St. Josef im Dorfzentrum.

Das rechteckige Areal hat eine Fläche von rund 20 auf 35 Metern und ist mit etwas unter hundert Gräbern zu rund zwei Drittel belegt.

Wie in gewissen Gegenden des Kantons Wallis üblich, sind die Gräber bis in kleine Details identisch gestaltet und stehen ziemlich eng in Reih und Glied. Lediglich die Bepflanzung ist etwas individueller. Vorne steht ein Grablicht mit Metalleinfassung, Die Kreuze sind aus Holz mit einem Schutzdach und rund einen Meter hoch. Im Giebel ist INRI eingraviert, darunter ein rundes Foto der Verstorbenen, dann eine Jesusfigur aus Holz und im unteren Drittel eine Holplatte mit den eingebrannten Namen und Lebensdaten.
