A sign placed by the Town of Little Elm stands near a bench along the north section of the Johnny Broyles Nature Trail in Little Elm Park, providing some background about the coyote, still living here despite major development.

The sign provides some background and interesting facts about the coyote, which is more and more being pushed out of its own habitat through development. Of note is a subtle warning about "household pets" being their prey, a lesson that someone learns the hard way here in North Texas multiple times a year.

The sign also provides a nice photo of a coyote, at rest, and they do cheat a little by providing a QR code for more information, assuming that everybody's carrying a phone. It links to a page dedicated to the coyote on the website of the Texas Parks and Wildlife Department.
