This statue of Will Rogers and his horse Teddy, entitled "Oklahoma's Native Son," was commissioned by the Oklahoma City Airport Trust to celebrate the completion of the Will Rogers World Airport terminal renovation project and to provide a spectacular focal point for the airport's garden plaza. The statue is located between the arrival/baggage level of the terminal and the ground transportation plaza (not in the secured area) and depicts Rogers, performing a rope trick, and Teddy as they might have appeared in one of the Wild West shows so popular in his youth.
