In the spring many birds breed here and in the autumn it is very busy with birds that come from the North. Birds find a place all year round when the water washes over the Wadden. There is something to do in Kroon's Polder all year round. A breeding cormorant colony in spring and summer and up to 75,000 knots and 125,000 sandpipers during winter and migration.
You can spot here the Sperwer,Tjiftaf, Bladkoning, Buizerd, Scholekster, Boomkruiper, goudhan, Lepelaar, Krakeend, Oeverpieper, Graspieper, Wilde eend. Blauwe reiger Kneu, enz, enz, enz
Birds in English: hen harrier, eider, greylag goose and various species of thicket and reed bird species such as blackcap, hedge sparrow, reed warbler, warbler, linden reed bunting, bluethroat, nightingale nest. and waders, and brent geese.
