This ford can be found in Glen Shee (the smaller of two Glen Shees in Perthshire) crossing the Shochie Burn at the foot of the highlands. The ford is on a narrow minor road that runs north-westwards from the B8063 to the remote isolated farmhouse of Little Glenshee. After crossing the ford the road takes a sharp right and heads eastwards back down the north side of the glen.

A small parking area lies on the right of the road a few yards before the water crossing.
