EN: The Suonen-Bräu microbrewery, named after the traditional irrigation channels in the Valais Alps, is located in Ausserberg northwest of Visp at about 1000 meters above sea level.
Here, three siblings handcraft three different flavors of beer in their spare time. They use mountain spring water from the Baltschieder Valley and only natural ingredients without stabilizers or artificial additives. The brewery does not use any machines; even the labeling of the bottles is done by hand.
The brewery also offers guided tours for groups by appointment.
DE: Die Kleinbrauerei Suonen-Bräu, benannt nach den traditionellen Bewässerungskanälen in den Walliser Alpen, befindet sich in Ausserberg nordwestlich von Visp auf etwa 1000 Meter über Meer.
Hier werden von drei Geschwistern in ihrer Freizeit drei Biere in Handarbeit hergestellt. Dazu verwenden sie Bergquellwasser aus dem Baltschiedertal und nur natürliche Zutaten ohne Stabilisatoren und künstliche Zusatzstoffe. Die Brauerei setzt keine Maschinen ein; selbst das Etikettieren der Flaschen wird von Hand gemacht.
Die Brauerei bietet für Gruppen nach Voranmeldung auch Führungen an.
