"Rolling Hills, the largest park in the system, is still
largely undeveloped. It features a softball field,
one large and two smaller shelters, a playground,
restroom and concession stand. A 1-mile long,
paved loop drive winds through the park, used extensively by residents for exercise and nature viewing." ~ Boonville - Cooper County Guide
Has three good playgrounds. Each are for different age groups. There's a very nice ball field that had league play. Good paved walking trail that makes a large circle were you'll see some wildlife. This trail doubles as a drive but everyone I've seen drives carefully and slow. There are a few dirt/gravel walking trails through the woods. One is a neat scout trail and the other follows a small creek and is very peaceful. There is a nice covered area with several picnic tables for lunch or gatherings. Along the paved road there are some benches and a gazebo that's a nice place to sit or have a picnic.
"The playground at Rolling Hills Park is closed until further notice to allow the Parks and Recreation Department to install a new surface under the equipment. The current playground was installed in 2007." ~ Boonville Daily News,
