The original building, consisting of brown limestone quarried from nearby Hummelstown, was 60' x 30' & 90' tall. The interior conains examples of Moorish Fretwork, along with an intricately tiled fireplace, and a circular reading room. The building has been expanded, adding greatly to the size available for the library's book collection.
