We were glad to see that there was an opportunity to watch the ISS with 8NutsMotherGoose in Texas, at a time that was reasonable for both parties.
The weather forecast for Edmond was looking good, with some clouds moving in. 8NutsMotherGoose wasn't so sure if the weather in Donna would allow him to view the ISS.
I in Edmond had clear skies for the pass, and first saw it appear in the south at 20:32:48. The neighbors nearby just installed two very bright spotlights, affecting my view of the ISS unless I shielded my vision with something (time to locate a new spot). I lost sight of it in the NE at 20:36:10. The pass over me had a max at 20:34:16, 49º, -3.6 magnitude. It traveled SSW to SE to ENE. The ISS seemed very bright tonight!
8NutsMotherGoose was able to view the ISS in Donna, Texas. The pass over him traveled from WSW to NW to NNE. Max was at 20:32:21, 47º, -2.8 magnitude.
The total distance traveled between Edmond, OK and Donna, TX was 561 miles (1.916 minutes X 293 miles per minute).
