The beach of Costa Nova do Prado or just Costa Nova is located on the west coast of Portugal , on the shore of the Ria de Aveiro . Administratively the city is Ílhavo , and in the tourist area of ??Rota da Luz .
Etymological origin
It had its origin in the opening of the estuary bar in 1808 . The designation is due to two facts. The first, "Nueva Costa", as opposed to the "Costa de Antigua" (San Jacinto). Second, due to the fact that this place, there has been a huge green meadow ( Costa Nova do Prado).
Description
It is one of the excellent Portuguese beaches to practice water sports , it also owns a yacht club. We often see a lot of boards for windsurfing , kitesurfing and other similar sports. The topic of this beach are the houses painted with vertical stripes interspersed with bright and cheerful colors.
