The sculpture is placed at the Kaptensgårdens Skulpturpark in Landskrona.
Pål Svensson is the son of the forester Tore Svensson and Gunn Svensson and grew up in Gothenburg. He trained in community planning 1970-75 at the University of Gothenburg and in parallel for three years in sculpture at the School of Art and Design's evening school. After working as, among other things, municipal secretary in Vårgårda municipality, he studied sculpture at Hovedskous Målarskola in Gothenburg 1978-79 and at Valand Art Academy 1979-84.
He has made a number of public sculptures in stone and metal.
