Kevin Brasier met with a ranger for Flaming Geyser State Park to discuss which projects around the park needed to be done. He chose to work on replacing the aging viewing platform beside Bubbling Geyser.
Kevin was able to secure donations of materials and money from a number of sources, and he also raised over $1600 on his own. Over the course of a couple of months in 2008, he and a group of volunteers installed new foundations, a new wooden structure, and composite Trex railings that will last much longer than the old wood. The project also included the installation of a small information sign explaining the geyser.
