Un des plus beaux promontoires de la côte basque …
à mi-chemin entre Sainte-Barbe et Erromadie…
au sommet de deux falaises de flysch, sortes de mille-feuille alternant roches dures et roches tendres.
Cet endroit est connu sous le nom d’Archiloa qui signifie pierre trouée en langue basque; une croix y est dressée. Le lieu est classé Espace Naturel Sensible.

One of the most beautiful promontories of the Basque coast...
halfway between Sainte-Barbe and Erromadie...
at the top of two cliffs of flysch, a kind of mille-feuille alternating hard and soft rocks.
This place is known under the name of Archiloa which means "stone with a hole" in Basque language; a cross is set up there. The place is classified as a Sensitive Natural Area.
