The
Great Lakes National Cemetery is located at 4200 Belford Rd, Holly, MI 48442. The first interment took place on October 17, 2005. Notable internments are: Allan Barnes, Lynn Chandnois, and Mack Rice.

The Blue Star Memorial marker sits on the back side of the brick entrance gate, not visible from the main road. It is the same front and back side. There are several American flags surrounding it. As you enter this veterans cemetery, you immediately see the rows of headstones for at least a quarter mile before arriving at the reception hall. The inscription reads:
