[FIN] Laitilan hautausmaan pysäköintialueen reunustalla on kivimuurin sisäpuolella apteekkari Anton Ruumenin hauta. Samaan hautaan on haudattu myös hänen vaimonsa Maria, joka kuoli kolme ja puoli vuotta ennen Antonia. Ilmeisesti hautaan on kuitenkin haudattu ensin Marian veli Fredrik. Tämä ei ole kuitenkaan varmaa.
Anton Ruumen oli varakas apteekkari Laitilassa, joka oli osakkaana sanomalehden tuliyhdistyksessä. Hän myös oli merkittävä henkilö kun Laitilan Suojeluskunta tarvitsi uuden ja suuremman toimitilan. Anton Ruumen oli vielä vuoteen 1935 saakka nimeltään Runman. Miksi nimenvaihdos, sitä ei tiedetä. Ruumen tarkoittaa suomenkielessä puinnin yhteydessä puimakoneessa syntyvää kevyttä viljan jätettä, joka saadaan erotettua jyvistä puhaltamalla. Tämä aines koostuu lähinnä akanoista, lehdistä ja muista pienistä viljakasvin osista.
Hän sai luvan perustaa Uudenkaupungin sivuapteekin Laitilaan vuonna 1903. Tässä vaiheessa Anton oli vasta nuori proviisori. Hän onnistui kuitenkin kartuttamaan omaisuutta hyvinkin ja tuki mielellään suojeluskuntatyötä. Oikeastaan Anton Ruumen maksoi kokonaan uuden kivirakenteisen talon yhdistykselle. Nykyään saman talon veteraanimuseosta löytyy Ruumenin perheen kodin vanha sohva museoituna.
Kuolinmaski on pronssinen ja se on kiinnitetty mustan kivisen hautapaasin keskelle. Hautaa kiertää kivireunus ja sen kummassakin reunassa on amfora. Itse hauta on hiekkapintainen. Kuolinmaskin vasemmalla puolella on apteekkarin kierteiden käärmeen tunnusmerkki.
Laitilan hautausmaalla ei vastaavanlaisia hautoja juurikaan löydy. Tämäkin on hyvin pidetty kunnossa.
[EN] At the edge of the Laitila cemetery parking area, inside a stone wall, is the grave of pharmacist Anton Ruumen. His wife Maria, who died three and a half years before Anton, is also buried in the same grave. However, Maria's brother Fredrik was apparently buried in the grave first. This is not certain.

Anton Ruumen was called Runman until 1935. Why the name change is unknown. Ruumen in Finnish means the light grain waste produced in the threshing machine during threshing, which can be separated from the grains by blowing. This substance mainly consists of chaff, leaves and other small parts of the cereal plant.
He received permission to establish a branch pharmacy of Uusikaupunki in Laitila in 1903. At this stage, Anton was only a young pharmacist. However, he managed to accumulate a lot of property and was happy to support the work of the Finnish White Guard. Actually, Anton Ruumen paid for a completely new stone-built house for the association. Today, the old sofa from the Ruumen family's home can be found in the veterans museum of the same building.
The death mask is bronze and is attached to the center of the black stone tombstone. The grave is surrounded by a stone border and there is an amphora on both sides of it. The grave itself has a sandy surface. On the left side of the death mask is the apothecary's spiral snake insignia.
There are hardly any similar graves in the Laitila cemetery. This is also well maintained.
