Okutama area is popular hiking spot in western Tokyo.
This bridge, located at the entrance plaza, is all made of wood.
At the plaza where you enter the forest road, there is a information board showing the "A path to Four Waterfalls of Umizawa. It takes about one hour to visit the three falls, which are Sanzugama-no-taki, Nejire-no-taki, and Otaki. These three waterfalls are good for ordinary hikers.
The fourth waterfall is located at the far end of Otaki Falls and is called Fudo Falls, but it seems to be located in a difficult area that is only accessible to experienced rock climbers, so it would be impossible for amateurs to climb.
It takes about 1 hour and 30 minutes to visit the three waterfalls while taking lots of pictures, so it is reasonable.
There is no well-maintained trail, just a regular mountain path.
Trail Name: Unazawa Hiking Trail
