To supplement their American Legion basic listing, I was able to find very little current information online about the post aside from the post's namesake: Alphonse Yelle, a US Army Private, 79th Division, 314th Infantry Regiment and Manville resident who was a casualty of the First World War. He was killed in action on November 10, 1918 and is interred at Meuse-Argonne American Cemetery in Romagne, France.
