A four storey flour mill was built adjacent to the railway to the west of the town in 1900. On 24 March, 1962 the old flour mill site was re-opened as Narromine Stock Feeds Mill. A spectacular fire on 6 January, 1964 destroyed the old mill building and only the brick chimney remains.
