Un agriculteur eut l'heureuse initiative d'introduire la culture du raison "gros vert" en 1890.
Pour écouler cette production, un marché au raisin fut créé en 1922.
Ce poids public, appelé La Bascule par les habitants, a servi jusqu'en 1985. à peser le "trinquebale", remorquée par un cheval puis par un tracteur, à plein puis à vide pour faire la tare.
La petite construction à côté accueillait le système qui indiquait les poids mesurés.

A farmer had the happy initiative of introducing the cultivation of "big green" grapes in 1890.
To sell this production, a grape market was created in 1922.
This public weight, called La Bascule by the locals, was used until 1985. to weigh the "trinquebale", towed by a horse and then by a tractor, full and then empty to tare.
The small building next door accommodated the system that indicated the measured weights.
