A postcard of the Teachers' Institute from 1910 is animated by several road workers laying paving stones. The Elementary School did not begin using this building until after the Institute was closed in the 1950s. The site was once the site of the renowned U Zlatého kríž (The Golden Cross) pub, which burnt down in 1765. The postcard was published by Josef Zajic.
