Located just off of PA Route 36 about 4 miles west of Altoona. The concrete post has been bulldozed out of the ground, probably when the road was widened, and on its side. The marker disk is stamped COUPON 1941 and is in good condition.

Directions on the Coupon Triangular Station data sheet. "THE AZIMUTH MARK IS 40.6 FEET S OF THE CENTER OF STATE HIGHWAY 36, UNDER A TELEPHONE LINE, AND 26 FEET E OF POLE NO. 46. IT IS STAMPED COUPON 1941 AND PROJECTS ABOUT 1 INCH. TO REACH FROM THE INTERSECTION OF U.S. HIGHWAY 220 AND STATE HIGHWAY 36 AT THE SE EDGE OF ALTOONA GO WESTERLY THROUGH ALTOONA FOR 5.6 MILES TO THE AZIMUTH MARK ON THE LEFT."
