The John and Sarah Strong House, was built in 1758. The building has a section with the original gambrel roof and an addition with a gable roof that was added later as was a complex of buildings built around three sides of a courtyard. The Windsor Historical Society saved the house from demolition in 1925 and has served as the headquarters for the Society. Today it also serves an historical museum which is open for tours.
