"Welcome
Our names are Harmony Autry & Melody Schell. We purchased the business in January of 2018, and continued to operate in the historic of downtown Mount Airy for the first year, where it had originally opened as a “Paint Your Own Pottery” shop in the old firehouse and called home since 2005. At the start of 2019, Firehouse Pottery made the transition to a larger studio space in Taneytown, as we continued to grow- which helped allow us to offer new and exciting projects for our customers. The community we have found here has been absolutely incredible, and we have felt our family grow with each new artist that walks through our studio doors.

We have already aided in many fundraisers and community events, and look forward to continuing to help pull the Taneytown community together to create. In addition, we are looking forward to continuing our growth and are confident that more than 25 years of experience in arts and crafts and more than 20 years of business experience will help aid in bringing our full vision for the studio to fruition."
