This Dead Poets' Society memorial is located outside the Phipps Conservatory and Botanical Gardens in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania's Schenley Park. The memorial is a sculpture by Scottish sculptor J. Massey Rhind of famous Scottish poet Robert Burns.
The statue of Burns was placed on October 27th, 1914 with funding from A.R. Peacock. The sculpture depicts Burns with plow, as he was a farmer in his early years. He is best known for the song "Auld Lang Syne".
