The former station constructed in 1884 has rendered brick with elaborate decorative trim and varied roof line. Verandah at the front has iron Corinthian columns and filigree brackets.The platform awning is supported by corrugated iron posts and brackets. At the end of the platform is a metal water tank on a steel base and a swivel type water column.
