Helping Hands’ is een kunstwerk dat ontworpen is door Erik Segers en André Vermeulen. “Het kunstwerk staat symbool voor de filosofie waar Kiwanis voor staat en is gebaseerd op een aantal van de kernwaarden van deze beweging. Deze kernwaarden werden 100 jaar geleden geschreven en zijn nu in de wereld waarin we leven, actueler dan ooit”, aldus Yves Wolfs.

Kiwanis is een wereldwijd netwerk van vrijwilligers die zich inzetten voor de medemens en in het bijzonder voor kinderen met als slogan ‘Serving the children of the world’. Op 25 september 2022 wordt het kunstwerk per opbod verkocht op de veiling die plaatsvindt na de jaarlijkse rally ‘Kiwanis op wieëg’. Tot dan blijft het kunstwerk te bewonderen op de markt van Maaseik.

Kiwanis is a worldwide network of volunteers who are committed to helping fellow human beings and especially children with the slogan 'Serving the children of the world'. On September 25, 2022, the artwork will be auctioned at the auction that takes place after the annual 'Kiwanis on cradle' rally. Until then, the artwork can be admired on the Maaseik market.

Helping Hands est une œuvre d'art conçue par Erik Segers et André Vermeulen. « L'œuvre d'art symbolise la philosophie défendue par Kiwanis et est basée sur certaines des valeurs fondamentales de ce mouvement. Ces valeurs fondamentales ont été écrites il y a 100 ans et sont maintenant plus pertinentes que jamais dans le monde dans lequel nous vivons », déclare Yves Wolfs.

Kiwanis est un réseau mondial de bénévoles qui s'engagent à aider les autres êtres humains et en particulier les enfants avec le slogan « Servir les enfants du monde ». Le 25 septembre 2022, l'œuvre d'art sera mise aux enchères lors de la vente aux enchères qui aura lieu après le rassemblement annuel « Kiwanis on cradle ». D'ici là, les œuvres d'art peuvent être admirées sur le marché de Maaseik.
