The Waterfront Boardwalk is 1.2 kilometre and runs along the waterfront of Sidney from the Fire Station Playground to the Joan Harris Cruise Terminal. There are monuments and views of marine activity.

Along the boardwalk in Mariner's Park you can see the Merchant Navy Memorial which consists in an anchor and a plaque commemorating the role of the Canadian Merchant Navy in World War I, World War II and the Korean War.
From the boardwalk you can snap photos of the Joan Harris Cruise Terminal's Big Fiddle, the largest fiddle in the world.
The coordinates are from the Merchant Mariner monument which depicts four sailorss and a life raft, with one of the men being rescued. It was unveiled on April 30, 2017.
