She lived with her mother then with her oldest sister, Emma and husband Bob, on their Mustang “Pioneer” dairy farm. She received her cosmetology license and worked as a hair dresser for Spurlocks Salon in old Tower District. She experienced more relocations with family from OKC to Amarillo, TX, to Hobart, IN then Fresno, CA only to return to OKC in 1975.
She lost her husband of 43 years in 1980 and continued to live independently with assistance from her family until she joined her beloved husband, sisters and brothers. Her passing marks the end of the “old” Scholle family of Mustang.
