Information panels along the route show hikers which junctions they can follow. Along the way, they follow signs and repeat stickers in the direction of the node-to-node arrow. Where possible, the route follows semi- or unpaved paths. Along the way, hikers pass cows in the meadow, charming villages or towns and beautiful polder landscapes. The Gouwe Wiericke hiking trail network offers a total of 250 kilometers of hiking pleasure and connects to the hiking trail networks of the Krimpenerwaard and the Lopikerwaard.
