The Margaret Shontz Memorial Library is located on the corner of South Second Street and Strawberry Lane in the town of Conneaut Lake, Pennsylvania. It was founded in 1971 at the Conneaut Lake Presbyterian Church on South 5th Street with a bequest of $649.80 from Emily McClintock Voellger in memory of her sister, Margaret McClintock Shontz, a local resident and Sunday school teacher. Since that time, the library has grown considerably and is now housed in a two-story building. According to the library's website, the library has more than 2000 members and has approximately 16,000 items in its collection. It is part of the Crawford County Federated Library System.
