2nd Lt. Luke Frederick Rennell Coleridge was born on 20 November 1892. He was the son of Major Rennell Coleridge and Ellen Gertrude Swabey. He died on 22 December 1914 at age 22, killed in action.
He fought in the First World War. He gained the rank of 2nd Lieutenant in the Coldstream Guards (Special Reserves)
The inscription on the tablet reads -
