The Religious Society of Friends started meeting in the Victoria area in 1907, rotating between various locations. In 1909, they started fundraising in order to build a dedicated meeting house. This property was purchased for $3000, and construction of the meeting house came to a total of $4250.

The meeting house was completed and opened in 1913, and was the first purpose-built meeting house in BC. It was designated a Victoria heritage building in 1990.

The meeting house looks much like the other houses in this residential area. It has a cross shape with gabled roofs on each side.

Sunday worship is held at 10:30 am both in-person and online. They also have Wednesday worship at 12:00.
