Kinsman Free Public Library is located on Church Street in the town of Kinsman, Ohio. The library was built in 1913 on land donated by the local Board of Education. The library was funded by a $7,000 donation from the Carnegie Corporation, along with additional funding from Mr. Frank Banning, a local greenhouse owner. The building was designed by architect Charles C. Thayer of New Castle, Pennsylvania. Since its opening, the building has undergone a number of renovations and expansions, including making it handicapped-accessible. It is an independent library, but is part of the Clevnet consortium, which shares resources and materials between libraries in northeastern Ohio. According to the library's website, "KFPL offers a diverse collection of materials and electronic resources to satisfy the needs and interests of just about everyone."
