DE: Auf dem Wanderparkplatz "Hohe Bracht" in der Nähe des Aussichtsturmes wurde vom Tourismusverband Lennestadt eine Übersichtskarte mit Standortinformation aufgestellt. Auf der Karte sind neben den Ortschaften auch die Wanderwege, Flüsse und Höhenlinien eingezeichnet. Auf der Tafel sind die Koordinaten im UTM Format ("UTM: Rechts 433020 / Hoch 5659619") und nach Gauss-Krüger ("Rechts 3433069.8 / Hoch 5661455.6") angegeben, ebenfalls befindet sich die Höhenangabe 582m üNN auf dem Schild.

Nach Umrechnung ins bekanntere Format WGS84 lautet die Koordinate "N 51° 5.050 E 8° 02.623", von der selbst gemessenen Koordinate "N 51 05.046 E 008 02.607" ist diese etwa 20m entfernt, die gemessene Höhe von 570m resultiert in einem Unterschied von etwa 12m.
