Opposite the Brasserie Springer at the Opweg in Schoonhoven is a nice starting point for a canoe voyage. There is a jetty for canoes and kayaks and a sign with a map for your voyage. You can paddle across the quiet river Vlist and, from the village Vlist, further to the west in the Krimpenerwaard. The sign is part of the canoe network Krimpenerwaard.

You can place your car at the Opweg or at the Nieuwe Singel, the jetty can be easily reached from the road
