In IVnIo In VIgILIa
preCVrsorIs DoMInI
natIVItatIs

In the courtyard of the monastery Neukloster in Wr. Neustadt is a tombstone made of red marble. In addition to Latin text, it also contains the following chronogram, which contains the year 1683:
In IVnIo In VIgILIa
preCVrsorIs DoMInI
natIVItatIs
The letters of the chronogram are larger than the others and arranged as follows: The first line is at the top across the entire width of the tombstone. The second line on the left and the third line on the right edge of the tombstone.
The inscription is unfortunately difficult to read, but the coat of arms at the bottom of the tombstone and the year 1683 could be an indication that this is the tombstone of Mathäus Eisenbart, who was the abbot of Neukloster Abbey from 1663-1683.
