This dam is located in Belleville, Ontario on the Moira River, upstream from the Harry Mulhall Dam. The dam was built in 1990 and is a concrete weir with two gates. The dam was built for ice management and flood control.

The dam is named for George and Lois Wishart, George was chair of the Moira River Conservation Authority and Lois served as a member of the Women's Study Guild.
