This field Chapel was originally constructed in 1848 and restored in 1890 and 1937/8 while retaining the architectural style of the original field chapel.
The inside has a crucifix and figurines. There are also 4 paintings from the late 18th century: “Maria Immaculate”, “Above God the Father and Holy Spirit”, “St. Johannes Nepomuk enthroned in clouds”, “Heart of Jesus, Heart of Mary”. There is an 18th century wooden figure of St. Wendelin, along with a votive image with cows honoring the same saint.
The relief is “Mother of God” from 1768, a crucifix by Anna Selbdritt, and the altar triptych by Alfred Gottwald shows the Mother of God Mary in the middle of a flower meadow in front of the Allgäu mountains (summer motif) and Christ's birth in the stable of Bethlehem (winter motif).
The Chapel is also on the list of cultural monuments of Bayern, no. D-7-80-133-48.
