The Broken Bow Carnegie Library was built with a donation of $10,000 donation from the Carnegie Corporation. The library was designed by architect M. L. Blair and built between 1915 and 1916 by Clyde Elder. The library was dedicated on March 25, 1916. It was an active library until 1972. Currently it is a law office.
The Broken Bow Carnegie Library is a two story high building is built of brick and has a gable roof covered in red tiles. A set of steps leads up to the central entrance which is flanked by a pair of rectangular windows. Above the entrance is the inscription:
CARNEGIE
PUBLIC LIBRARY
The gable sides of the building have a set of four windows on the upper level. An extension with a flat roof at the rear has an additional set of four windows.
