[FR] À l’origine il y avait une chapelle construite au XIe par les templiers. Les hospitaliers de Carentoir, très présent dans la région à cette époque en héritèrent. Celle-ci, par contre, fut reconstruite en style gothique vers 1523 et garda son égide envers Saint-Jean qui était aussi le patron de cet ordre pieux et très actif dans les croisades.

[EN] It was originally a chapel constructed in the 11th century by the Templars. The Hospitallers of Carentoir, very active in the region, inherited it. This pious military order, very active in the crusades, reconstructed the chapel in a gothic style around 1523 and kept the dedication to Saint John who was also their patron saint.
