NL Bij het ouderencomplex Rumah Saya langs de Klein Hattem in Ugchelen is op de binnenplaats een mooie locatie gemaakt om de Tweede Wereldoorlog te herdenken. Rumah Saya is gemaakt specifiek voor ouderen met Indische roots. De herdenkingsplaats bestaat uit een plaquette met de tekst Respect, Betrokkenheid en Medeleven en de datums 8 december 1941 en 15 augustus 1945. Ernaast staat een vlaggenmast. Dit is de periode dat Indonesië onder Japanse heerschappij viel tijdens de Tweede Wereldoorlog.
ENG At the elderly complex Rumah Saya along the Klein Hattem in Ugchelen, a beautiful location has been created in the courtyard to commemorate the Second World War. Rumah Saya is made specifically for the elderly with Indian roots. The memorial site consists of a plaque with the text Respect, Involvement and Compassion and the dates December 8, 1941 and August 15, 1945. Next to it is a flagpole. This is the period when Indonesia fell under Japanese rule during World War II.
