The Vereinigte Schützen Steckborn can look back on a long tradition. In 1938-39 the United Schützen Steckborn emerged from the three societies Stadtschützen, military and Grütlischützen. The oldest rifle club is mentioned in the logbooks of the community as early as 1543.

In the past, the shooting exercises were still carried out in the trenches until at some point the old Schützenhaus was built in the valley.

The club consists of the 2 sub-sections: pistol and the snap shooters. In the Schützenhaus in a wonderful location with a view of the Untersee, you can shoot at the following distances:

- 50 m pistol (RFP and large caliber)

- Snap shooters
