This butterfly garden is located just off the parking lot for the Historic Yates Mill County Park in Raleigh, North Carolina and is part of the 'The Butterfly Highway' sponsored by North Carolina Wildlife Federation. There is a butterfly house within the garden as well as a pollinator house for bees. A memorial sign placed in the garden reads:
