"Dedicated to music, its wrought iron scrolls are composed of lyres. A stone staircase gives access to it and its dome is apparently covered with zinc in the form of scales.
It was offered to the city by the contractor Charles Cavé (from Louvroil, in the North) who had been chosen for the construction of the covered market. The two buildings were inaugurated on January 26, 1890.
The bandstand was animated every Thursday evening at 8:30 a.m. by the music of the 21st Infantry Regiment.
In 2014, the kiosk was removed for restoration. It has regained all its splendor thanks to a generous donor."
