"Charles William Gramlich
Charles William Gramlich, 72, of Boonville passed away Thursday morning December 14, 2017 at his home surrounded by his family.
Visitation for Charles will be 3-6 p.m. Sunday, December 17, 2017 at Howard Funeral Home with a Rosary being recited at 2:30 p.m. Mass of Christian Burial will be 10 a.m. Monday December 18, 2017 at S.S. Peter and Paul Catholic Church with Fr. Bill Peckman and Fr. Kevin Gormley officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery with full military honors.
"Charles William Gramlich was born April 9, 1945 in Cooper County, Mo. The son of Otto Aloysius Gramlich and Helen Sophia Twenter Gramlich. He married Elaine Hoff on September 9, 1967 at S.S. Peter and Paul Catholic Church. They celebrated 50 years of marriage on September 9, 2017. Charles was a lifelong member of S.S. Peter and Paul Catholic Church as well as a member of the Knights of Columbus as a third degree knight. He served his country in the National Guard. He was also a member of the American Legion. He worked for the Missouri Department of Transportation for 40 years and retired as area supervisor. He loved his family very much and adored his five granddaughters "Charlie's Angels". He enjoyed fishing, mushroom hunting, farming and spending time with his family.
"Charles was preceded in death by his parents, sisters, Elnora Heilman, Martha Atkinson, Julia Melkersman, Bernice Grissum and brother, Harold Gramlich. He is survived by his wife Elaine of the home, son, Doug (Sharon) Gramlich, Jody (Laura) Gramlich both of Boonville, Mo. and Julie (Mike) Seda of Columbia, Mo. Also surviving are Charlie's Angels, Rebecca, Mikayla, Ellise, Sarah and Sophia.
In lieu of flowers memorial contributions suggested to S.S. Peter and Paul Catholic School or Central Missouri Cancer Memorial Park." ~ Legacy
