Location of mausoleum: CR-450 & MO-5, about 1 mile N of New Franklin downtown, Mount Pleasant Cemetery

The art on this mausoleum is simple, yet interesting. On each front column, just below the name, are fans of palm frons, reminiscent of old Egypt. And, above the name, is a wreath of olive branches ties with a flowing ribbon

The mausoleum, is plain structure with a few frieze art decorations and an ornate bronze gates in front of the door. The gate is now chained and padlocked, giving rise to the impression of some vandalism having occurred in the recent past.
