Een bezoekje aan Wildlands Zoo is een prachtig avontuur.
Wildlands is niet een traditionele dierentuin maar meer een totale beleving.
Gaaf dat bepaalde dieren gewoon los rondlopen/vliegen.
Het park is opgezet met 3 thema's.
Je gaat als het ware 3x op expeditie, als een echte ontdekkingsreiziger om het park te verkennen. In drie totaal verschillende werelden kun je op avontuur gaan.
Nortica: deze winterwereld neemt je mee naar het poolgebied en alles dat daarbij hoort.
Serenga: Een Savanne in Afrika met een gave safaritour.
Hier kun je bijvoorbeeld in een klein hutje examen doen om parkwachter te worden.
Jungola: De Jungola is een enorme kas, hier waan je je in de jungle met tropisch diersoorten, een vlindertuin, touwbruggen en een boottocht over de Rimbula River.
Hier ligt een neergestort vliegtuig en de gestrande expeditie leden doen hier onderzoek doet naar vogels en apen. Om dit thema zijn allerlei prachtig uitgevoerde plekjes gecreeerd.
In dit gedeelte vind je ook de birdy bush waar de vogels vrij rondvliegen. Bij het hutje kun je de vogels voeren. Voor een euro krijg je een bakje met groene smurrie waar de lories dol op zijn.
De aankleding van het park is fantastisch, de thema’s zijn tot in detail uitgevoerd. Zo wordt er echte beleving voor jong en oud gecreërd
"In Jungola begin je met een avontuurlijke route door de Vlindertempel waar honderden exotische vlinders vliegen. In de gigantische, tropische kas vaar je Rimbula River af. Kijk die olifantenkudde! En als je geluk hebt, nemen ze een bad vlak naast jouw boot. Je vaart rakelings langs de eilanden met slingerapen en gibbons. Verderop kom je ringstaartmaki’s tegen en in de bomen spot je tientallen tropische vogels. Hoor je de geluiden? In Jungola kom je oren en ogen tekort.
De Jungola gaat over in de Rimbula daar leven in Birdy Bush allerlei prachtige vogels, felgekleurd en luidruchtig, maar ook piepklein en onopvallend. Met exotische namen als lori van de blauwe bergen, roelroel, Victoria kroonduif en rijstvogel. Als je tijd hebt, mag je de lori’s blij maken met een lekker hapje."

A visit to Wildlands Zoo is a wonderful adventure.

Jungola: The Jungola is a huge greenhouse, here you imagine yourself in the jungle with tropical animal species, a butterfly garden, rope bridges and a boat trip on the Rimbula River.
Here is a crashed plane and the stranded expedition members are researching birds and monkeys. All kinds of beautifully executed spots have been created around this theme.
In this part you will also find the birdy bush where the birds fly around freely. You can feed the birds at the wooden hut. For a euro you get a bowl of green gunk from an employee, that the Lories love.
