This State Park Passport Location is at the Pymatuning State Park office off of Williamsfield Road near Jamestown, Pennsylvania. The
Pennsylvania State Parks and State Forests Passport book is available for purchase at the office and the employees will gladly stamp the book for you. Pymatuning State Park is on page 105 in the book. A small container on the wall near the office's door contains pre-stamped papers for visitors who come when the office is closed.
The entry in the book for the park notes that its highlights are fishing and sunsets. The text for the park says, "Stop by the spillway where the ducks walk on the fishes' backs or visit nearby centers to view wildlife exhibits. Two natural areas, the 725-acre Blackjack Swamp and the 161-acre Clark Islands (access by boat), provide habitat for unique natural communities. A 17,088-acre lake offers 20 horse power boating. Modern cabins and camping available."
According to the Pennsylvania Department of Conservation and Natural Resources website, Pymatuning Reservoir, which straddles the border with Ohio, is the largest lake in Pennsylvania, and Pymatuning State Park is one of the most visited state parks in the state.
